Our ‘Babes in arms’ policy is aligned to the policies of the venues in which we screen. Note: this policy is only recommended for our family films (rated PG or G).

Event Cinemas Top Ryde – All babies under 3 are able to attend family sessions without a ticket. On the condition they are seated on your lap.

Lido Cinemas Hawthorn – All babies under 2 are able to attend family sessions without a ticket on the condition they are seated on your lap.

Refunds are not available if you are unable to attend. Tickets are transferable.

There is also the option of ‘Secure my Refund’ insurance which you can purchase on the Sticky Tickets website. It is 10% of the ticket price. This is a Sticky Tickets service that allows you to receive a refund if you are unable to attend regardless of the event organiser’s refund policy. Click here for more details.

Depending on age of the child, the below sessions are suitable for children:

Polli is an adventure/drama film and suitable for children aged 12+. There are family tickets available for Polli.

Ararat Uncovered is a family friendly documentary, rated PG and suitable for all ages. In Sydney there is a film-only session, with Family Tickets available.

Comedy Double with Kev Orkian is family-friendly, rated PG. Both the film Ararat Uncovered and the live show Covid Movid are family friendly.

In 2023 the festival features films in English, Armenian and Spanish. All non-English films have English subtitles.

All films that are not in English have English subtitles.

You are welcome to attend the Gala Night and only attend for the screening, however ticket price remains the same.
