Erhan Arik, a Turkish photographer, grew up in a house previously inhabited by Armenians who were driven out by the massacres in 1915. He was never interested in this episode of history until he heard a voice in a dream asking him: “Why did you turn that room into a barn, where my wife used to make bread?”
Arik suddenly has a revelation, and with the voice continuing to haunt him, he goes on a journey to meet Armenians across the border and understand the history of the land around him.
